To exist as a Messianic Jewish community that testifies to the truth and power of the Good News of Yeshua, to mature in righteousness, and to promote Messianic revival amongst the Jewish people."To exist as a Messianic Jewish community": We live a Messianic Jewish lifestyle both inside and outside of our regular congregational meetings. Furthermore, the Messianic Jewish lifestyle is not something that can be done only as an individual; a Biblical lifestyle as well as observance of many of the Jewish Holidays requires the context of a community, and the members of our congregation constitute that community. This community contains Jews who believe in Yeshua, Jews who are interested in learning more or just want to hang out with us, and Gentiles who believe in Yeshua and want to be part of our Messianic Jewish community. Our belief in the importance of existing as a community is also emphasized by our name "Kehilat HaMashiach" which, translated, means "Community of Messiah".
"that testifies to the truth and power of the Good News of Yeshua": While we exist as a community, Messiah's love shines through us. God uses the community itself to testify about who He is to those who come into our midst. This happens through the love that we have for one another (John 13:35), by seeing and hearing about God's presence in our lives to change us (Psalm 9:1), and by seeing God's power operating in our midst
"to mature in righteousness": When we commit to following Yeshua, the Ruach HaKodesh (Holy Spirit) begins to transform our lives as we allow Him to work in our lives. This maturing process is an important part of our vision, and the main focus of our teaching. We do not focus our teaching on "how" to be a Messianic Jewish community -- a Messianic Jewish community is who we are, not what we teach. Our focus instead is on maturing in righteousness as would be expected of any community of people who follow Messiah Yeshua.
"and to promote Messianic revival amongst the Jewish people": Our prayers, our energies, and our resources are devoted to the goal that all of Israel will be saved (Rom 11:26). Our attentions are focused on our own local community as well as Israel. We also desire to help the Messianic Community in Israel both through prayer and financial help, especially during these times of economic difficulties experienced by Israel.
