The congregation will have a Purim party at Mike and Lyn's place. This is a covered dish dinner, so please bring some food to share. Those who wish to may also participate in a skit written just for the occasion.

Purim is based on the Book of Esther. The holiday was instituted in the Book of Esther (chpater 9) and is celebrated as a rememberance of God's deliverance of the Jewish people.
